| Wonderful antique Mahogany wood slope/slant writing desk found in England. The wood is beautiful with many well worn knicks and gashes, but has a rich patina. The slope has a ridge on the bottom to hold books, paper, etc. It is hinged and the inside is very worn and marked with a metal slate on the back presumably to hold a writing instrument. The back of the box has a very large gash on the bottom. The dimensions are 7.5" high, 10.5" wide and 15" long. Dates to early 1900's. | |||||||||
