| Wonderful vintage English weigh scale with a set of 7 brass weights by Boots of Nottingham. The scale is in excellent condition with very little wear. The base is white and the is marked Boots Nottingham. The brass scoop has a few scratches. The 7 brass weights are 1 LB, 8 oz., 4 oz., 2 oz., 1 oz., 1/2 oz., and 1/4 oz. One weighs an item in the scoop by placing enough weights on the other side until it is perfectly balanced. The base is cast iron and is very heavy. It is 10" long and 7" high. This would be great in your kitchen! | ||||||||
