19th C. Set of 5 German Apothecary Laboratory Bottles
Wonderful set of 5 19th Century German Amber Apothecary bottles. All have their original stoppers and labels. Two bottles are 4" high and the stopper is 2" across. One label is ACIDUM BENZOICUM and has the number 323 written on the stopper and the number 100 embossed on the bottom. There is no chips or cracks and has white residual at the bottom. The other bottle label is SULFACYLUM NATRIUM p.2.0/c.7.0 and has the number 129 written on the stopper and the number 100 embossed on the bottom, no chips or cracks. Another bottle is 4.5" high and the stopper is 1.25" across. The label is marked SOLUTIO HYDROGENII PEROXYDI CONC. The stopper has the number 257 written on the top and the number 100 embossed on the bottom. There are no chips or cracks, but the bottom of the stopper has a couple of little knicks. Another bottle is 3" high and the stopper is 1" across. The label is marked CHLORETONUM PRO INHALATIONE and has the number 64 written on the stopper. There are no chips or cracks, but the stopper has a couple of little knicks. The last bottle is 2.75" high and the stopper is 1.5" across. The label is marked ERYTHROMYCINUM p.0.5/c.2.o and has the number 86 written on the top and the number 30 embossed on the bottom. There are no chips or cracks. Start an instant collection! I am pretty sure these bottles came from a German university.
