| Vintage Royal Winton chintz 10" platter in the very beautiful Summertime pattern. It is marked Summertime Copyright Wright Tyndale & Van Roden Inc. England Royal Winton Grimwades Made in England. Wright Tyndale & Van Roden Inc. was a company in the U.S. that marketed Royal Winton Summertime chintz and it went out of business in the 1930's, thus dating this to the 1930's. Chintz this old has a wonderful patina. There are no chips or cracks (except for a firing crack on the back) and there is overall crazing. Just a beautiful piece! | |||||||
