The back of the box has a very large gash on the bottom. The dimensions are 7.5" high, 10.5" wide and 15" long. Dates to early 1900 ...click for details
Beautiful antique french ormolu bevelled glass jewelry box casket with tufted silk cushion. The lid has heavy bevelled glass with a beautiful picture of Saint Lo. L'Hotel-de-Ville. Inside the blue silk cushion is tufted with 5 little silk buttons. The cushion is in excellent condition with no holes, rips, or stains. The box rests on 4 legs with curled feet. The box measures 3" high and 2.5" wide. I could find nothing wrong with it. Just a wonderful french jewelry box.

The beveled mirror itself is very high quality and can tilt up or down. It is hard to believe it dates to early 1900's as ther ...click for details
